Valencia CF player Cristian Rivero fulfilled his dream yesterday after making his debut with the Valencia CF team in LALIGA, at the Mestalla and wearing the captain's armband.
The goalkeeper from Gandía arrived at the VCF Academy at the age of 10 and made his official debut with the first team on December 16, 2020 against Terrassa CF in a Copa del Rey match. The Valencianista goalkeeper won the 2019 Cup.
As he indicated in VCF Media after the match against Deportivo Alavés, corresponding to matchday 34 of LALIGA EA Sports 23-24: "I feel proud. I work to be well and to do my best when I have the opportunity. In the end, that opportunity has arrived. It's a pity that Jaume got injured. But I am very happy to play in front of this fans. It was the dream of my life and I have been able to fulfill it, wearing the armband".
